This project involved replicating the appearance of the original retractable tail wheel while using where appropriate, modern material and components. The original retractable tail wheel strut was stripped and the CAD drawing made.
Once the drawing was completed modifications were made for ease/simplification of manufacture and to utilize modern materials without altering the external appearance.
