Tube bending rollers
We recently completed some tube bending rollers for a local engineering company. These were machined from 4340 Steel and then heat treated. We are really happy with the end result.

The boys have been busy now that the the airshow is over. They have had a number of jobs on the go, one job recently completed was belt winding spool for a Sopwith Triplane. This was machined from an original drawing from aluminium.

We start with 160 (6.3”) Diameter 4340 rod and rough machine it in the cnc mill to get the basic shape before going into the lathe for turning. This process takes it from 100 kg billet (219 lbs) to 34 kgs (75 lbs) and ready for turning. [...]

We have recently finished some engine mount attach bolts 87-21-598-1 & 87-21-598-2, complete with tapered washer 87-21-599.
