Monday ended on a high around the workshop with engine #006 being wheeled out of the shop for its first test run. The engine ran really well (even got a nice wee flame on startup). Engine started first blade and ran very smoothly. Another fantastic team effort from everyone here at CAMS and now we are looking forward to getting engine #008 running in the next week, all going to plan.
Now before anyone comments yes we have skipped #007 but we are coming back to that one. At the owners request we have a modification to do on this engine that will be revealed at a later date.
